Delegation to Shanghai (5-7 Nov 2024)

With the aim of understanding the recent luxury business developments in Shanghai and its surrounding regions, members of Les Lumières de Paris Hong Kong Chapter participated in a delegation to Shanghai in early November.

This exclusive tour included a series of activities, such as private visits and exclusive previews of exhibitions, highlighted by a private viewing of the new Cartier Collection Exhibition at Shanghai Museum East: Cartier, the Power of Magic, on 5 Nov 2024. The museum was specially closed for exclusive private tours in the afternoon.

The delegation also engaged in a fruitful exchange with the executives and members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and enjoyed a luncheon at the former residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling.

Our institute look forward to expanding our outreach through meaningful cultural exchanges and embracing the richness of both French and Chinese traditions along with our members, elevating the representation of French culture, products, and cuisine while honoring and celebrating the cultural heritage of China.
